Now serving pizza!  We offer 7" or 14" pizzas with your choice of toppings or save with the Combo Deal which includes a 14" pizza, 4 toppings & 4 medium beverages.  There are still the traditional favorites including Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Strips and more.  Bring us your appetite and we'll get you back on your safari in no time.  Open daily, weather and attendance permitting.

Chill Zone 

Take a break and visit our Ice Cream station located in the Zoo farm area.  We are serving hand dipped, Hershey Ice Cream. Open weekends, weather and attendance permitting. 

Otter Outpost

Grab a cool drink or packaged snack at our Otter Outpost Snack Station located by our North American River Otter exhibit. Train and Face Painting tickets are all available for purchase here. Open weekends, weather and attendance permitting.

Jungle Gift Shop - 574-235-5615

Make your visit complete with a stop at the Jungle Gift Shop.  We offer everything from cameras, batteries, sunscreen, cuddly plush animals, toys, apparel and fair trade items.  You can also find snacks and beverages in the Jungle Gift Shop too!  Open daily 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (weather and attendance permitting).  Visa, MasterCard and Debit accepted - ATM inside. Potawatomi Zoo Train and Face Painting tickets now available in Jungle Gifts.

Kiosk

New this year, the kiosk located at the front entrance of the Zoo offers bottle beverages, snacks, necessities, and souveniors for your safari through the zoo. Carousel, Train and Face Painting tickets as well as information are all available at this location. Open daily, weather and attendance permitting

Things To Do

Potawatomi Zoo Train - ($2.00 per person; 2 and under ride for free with paid adult)

All Aboard! Grab your little ones and hop aboard the Zoo Train! Take a ride on a historic CP Huntington electric train takes zoogoers past our zoo pond, South/North America, veterinary hospital, otter exhibit and Australia. All proceeds from the train go directly toward building new exhibits or improving existing habitats at the zoo. The Zoo train runs everyday until October 31st. Daily operation is weather permitting.  

Endangered Species Carousel - ($2.00 per person; 2 and under ride free with paid adult)

Choose your favorite animal and take a spin on the Potawatomi Zoo Endangered Species Carousel!  

The carousel features 18 unique, one of a kind, exotic animals, each hand-crafted and hand-painted by skilled artisans. Carousel animals include species found at the Potawatomi Zoo, including zebra, lion, leopard, tortoise and painted dog. The carousel also includes rare and endangered species from around the world and one ADA-accessible chariot with seating for two.  Each animal comes with a message of conservation.

The carousel is open from 10AM until the last ride at 5PM. Proceeds from carousel rides support Potawatomi Zoo’s mission. 

Zoo Farm Feeding Area  
Come and get up close to your favorite barnyard buddies. Stop by our feed machines so our goats and donkeys can eat out of your hand. Animals may be viewed during the entire Zoo season.

Restrooms
Restrooms are handicapped accessible, equipped with changing stations and available in several locations throughout the Zoo.
