Habitat: Native to Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica

Description: Curly hair tarantulas have a distinctive “fluffy” appearance due to long, wiry bristles known as setae.

Conservation Status: Least Concern, although threatened by over-collection for the pet trade, which is now regulated.
