As Indiana’s oldest zoo, the Potawatomi Zoo is one of the most important cultural institutions in the Michiana area. The Zoo is home to over 400 animals on 23 acres. More than 200,000 guests visit the Zoo annually – making it the second largest attraction in the area after Notre Dame.

Each year, through special events and educational programming, the Zoo seeks to capture the excitement and the imagination of visitors while helping to continue its active conservation, education, and species preservation programs.

The Potawatomi Zoological Society offers sponsorship opportunities for a variety of exciting special events held throughout the year. The Zoo’s special events sponsorship packages are designed to support a variety of corporate marketing and promotional strategies and can be customized to meet specific marketing objectives. Zoo-to-Do: Passport to Wild Places - August 7, 2010

Join the Potawatomi Zoological Society for the 2010 Zoo-to-Do. This fund-raiser is an exciting event that proves to be a fantastic evening at the Zoo. Attendees have the opportunity to enjoy cocktails and appetizers, take excursions through the Zoo while learning about the Zoo’s history and species conservation programs. The evening continues with dancing and a silent/live auction featuring exclusive zoo-related items. This event has broad-based appeal, with a projected attendance of 150. Zoo Boo – October 22, 23 and 24, 2010

Zoo Boo and Little Zoo Boo is the ideal way to effectively reach more than 8,000 family consumers in a matter of three days. This Halloween event at the Zoo provides a safe trick-or-treat experience for families and their children. Activities include a haunted train ride on Friday and Saturday evening with a toddler friendly train ride on Sunday afternoon, costumed characters, and treats handed out from local vendors. Corporate partners receive on-site signage before and during the event, plus recognition on our website and on site display opportunities.

Members' picnic - July 17, 2010

Our members' appreciation picnic is a great way to reach famililes throughout Michiana through a variety of opportunites. Sampling and display opportunities are available, and we are seeking a variety of in kind donations including food, dessert, and family friendly entertainment etc.

Zoo Brew - Saturday, September 11, 2010

Zoo Brew is a beer-tasting event for adults age 21 and over. Patrons will enjoy sampling beers from local breweries and distributors as well as delicious foods from area restaurants. Popular band Alligator Blackbird will provide the entertainment for this exciting event! Proceeds from Zoo Brew will benefit wildlife conservation, new naturalistic exhibits for the animals, and education programs.
