ZOO CAREER CAMP
Ever thought about working in a zoo? Then this camp is for you! Meet some of Potawatomi Zoo’s Keepers, discover different aspects of their job, and find out what it’s like to clean up after some of the Zoo’s residents. Career Campers will also get to work in the Commissary with the Zoo Dietician, tour the Vet Hospital with the Zoo’s Veterinary Technician and more! Zoo Career Camp is a great opportunity to learn about zoo careers, how zoos care for animals, and the role zoos play in conservation and our communities. Each session is two days, Wednesday and Thursday, from 8:30 AM until 1:30 PM. Class size is very limited to give students a more personal experience, so please register early! Students are required to dress appropiately for the conditions. They should wear clothing that may get dirty, and they must wear closed-toe shoes, such as sneakers or boots, and don't forget to bring a packed lunch. Please check back for Summer of 2011 class schedules!
