Additional Options:

You may choose to add the following options to your party package. Some options are only available seasonally; call the Education Department for more information.

• Craft : Each child at the party can make and take home their very own animal craft. Cost = $0.50 per child.
• Kid’s Meals : Order delicious kid’s meals from Sydney’s Café. Meals come with chips and a small drink. Call for varieties and prices.
• Train Ride : All Aboard! Take a ride on the Potawatomi Zoo Train. Cost is $2.00 per ticket. This option must be paid separately to the Potawatomi Zoological Society.

Winter Discount: Birthday parties scheduled after the zoo closes for the season will be discounted. The “per child” fee will be reduced 50%.

• Craft : Each child at the party can make and take home their very own animal mask. Cost = $0.50 per child.
• Souvenirs : Take home a wild souvenir from your Zoo Cub birthday party. Cost = $1.50 each (souvenirs are included with Party Wild package)
• Meals : Have your party catered by Sydney’s Café at Potawatomi Zoo. The Education Department can put you contact with the Café to make arrangements.
• Train Ride or Butterfly Exhibit: Take a ride on the Potawatomi Zoo Train or visit Butterflies: In Living Color! Cost is $2.00 per person (children 2 & under free). Payment for this option is made separately and is payable to the Potawatomi Zoological Society.

• To schedule your child’s next birthday party at Potawatomi Zoo, contact the Education Department at #574.235.7621.
• Parties are scheduled around the availability of the party room and the education staff. Dates and times are reserved on a first-come first-serve basis.
• A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is required after reserving a party. This deposit reserves your party date and will be deducted from the total cost of the party.
• The Education Department requires at least 2 weeks notice for scheduling a party; however, as our schedule can fill up quickly you may want to allow more time. Parties can be scheduled up to 2 months in advance.

Decorations

• The party room is painted with an animal mural.
• There are animal print tablecloths on the serving tables only.
• You may bring other table covers if desired.

Invitations are now available!

• Potawatomi Zoo now offers an invitation template free of charge to anyone who has a scheduled party.
• Invitations can be emailed as a pdf file, which anyone can view and print using Adobe Reader software (free download from their website). The template could also be mailed to your address or a copy picked up at the zoo.
• Please note that we will only supply the invitation template. You will have to print or make copies of the invitation as needed.

What you will need to supply:

• Cake
• Plates, silverware, napkins

You may also bring:

• Other food and drinks to be served during your party

Items that can not be brought into the zoo:

• Balloons
• Noise makers
• Piñatas

The party room capacity is 40 total people.
